An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join the Glen Ewin Estate wedding & events team.
As an award-winning venue in the Adelaide Hills, Glen Ewin Estate hosts 200 + weddings and events per year across two unique venues. Established over 150 years ago, the property has a vast history and boasts a cellar door, bistro and fig orchard.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Event & Sales Manager to join our evolving sales team. This position is suited to a self-motivated, client focused, outgoing and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to set & reach sales targets
- Ability to build rapport with clients and a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of working in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Adaptable to different situations and able to problem solve
- Professional, presentable and mature minded
- Shows initiative and takes ownership of duties and tasks
- Superior time management skills
- Strong networks in the Wedding and Event market
- Understanding of sales targets and budget requirements
- Ability to manage a small sales team to success
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with Respak event booking system
- Qualification in events or hospitality
This role will require weekend work and flexibility in hours is a must.
