About the role:
We seek an enthusiastic, bright and pro-active person to join us at our Corporate Apartment Accommodation business. As Reservations / Sales Consultant you will be responsible for responding to internet and phone enquiries, processing bookings, managing occupancy and rates, and channel manager. Must be presentable, well articulate, extremely reliable, have attention to detail, and have excellent references. You will be based out of our modern head office at Neutral Bay, working with a small team of great people.
About our Guests:
Our guests are corporate professionals, travellers, and people requiring fully furnished apartment accommodation for short to medium term stays on the lower north shore and Sydney CBD.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Corresponding to and processing internet and phone reservation enquiries.
- Processing payments
- Following up and closing sales enquiries
- Following up guests and logging feedback
- Managing and logging guest complaints
- Managing OTA's rates and connectivity through RMS channel manager
- Managing guest arrivals / departures & assisting in meet and greets
- Relationship management of corporate clients, including scheduling call cycles.
- Identifying high value clients and recording contact information for BDM to follow up
- Managing client database
- Assisting the CEO in general admin
The successful candidate should have;
- Excellent sales skills and a passion to sell
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Experience in dealing with and managing corporate clients
- Friendly personality, well presented
- A positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to lend your hand to a variety of tasks
- High level customer service skills
- Sound Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Previous accommodation or travel industry experience in sales / reservations an advantage
