Dryander Foods is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Chef for our brand new high volume production facility located in Airlie Beach. Our Company produces ready made meals for a number of services.
Our new Production Chef will be ready to take on the challenge of producing high volume, Quality meals.
Your main responsibilities will include:-
- Working within a production team and delivering high quality products
- Adhere to and maintain HACCP, ISO 9001:2008 and Quality Control procedures
- Following and maintaining strict cooking processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:-
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar food production role
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications or strong food manufacturing experience
- Related industry experience ( preferably within the ready to eat sector)
- A Fully Qualified Chef
- Past involvement in meal and product development
- HACCP / Quality Systems certification and demonstrated application in the workplace
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
- Time management, organisation and planning skills with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- A real passion for great food.
