Event Supervisor and Head Waiter – 12 Micron and Waterman’s Function Room

Exciting times! 12 Micron has launching its brand new event space- Waterman’s Room- and is looking for an experienced Event Supervisor.

The successful candidate will also be able to work in the restaurant side of the business in the capacity of a Head Waiter to successfully execute PDR bookings.

We are looking for an experienced communicator and customer service professional  with proven organisational skills who can ensure that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.

You will be passionate about hospitality, with both restaurant and beverage experience and possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

We are searching for someone who can assist in motivating, progressing and encouraging other staff. We want strong leaders who can progress others whilst leading from the front.

As the ideal candidate you will also possess the following attributes:

• Strong customer focus and has a passion for the industry
• Ability to confidently client face and communicate effectively what the client requires to the team
• High levels of personal presentation and projects the Company’s high levels of professionalism
• Event skills with a commitment of achieving outstanding results.
• Proven experience in complaint resolution
• Ability to assist the Events Manager with training staff in food and beverage as well as event procedures

Essential requirements:

• Relevant proven experience in a service-driven food and beverage business
• At least two years’ experience working in a restaurant, café or bar with a high standard of customer service
• Strong food and beverage knowledge
