Jam Packed Café has an exciting 6 month fixed term position available for an experienced Team Leader to join our busy and popular venue.
Jam Packed is a casual all-day dining venue and gourmet provedore. Positioned in the IXL Atrium, we offer swift dining options and great coffee. Opening from 7.30am, we have everything from aromatic espresso coffee, all-day breakfast to light lunches, locally brewed craft beers, Tasmanian wine and ciders.
As our Team Leader, you’re role is responsible for providing leadership, supervision and support to your immediate team across Jam Packed and the Lounge. You will play a key role in coaching others in job tasks, and will help facilitate and build positive working relationships. Your exceptional organisational skills, prior leadership experience and fantastic interpersonal skills will equip you well for coordinating the team, and working through any issues that may arise. You will also have;
- Flexibility and reliability to work a varying roster,
- A positive and mature leadership approach,
- Prior exposure to leading and supporting a team through change,
- Drive, initiative and motivation to perform beyond expectations, and
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
