Due to internal promotion Cater Care are seeking a Full Time Chef for a Floating position to support Cater Care business in the Greater Sydney Area.

We are currently seeking an experienced Relief Chef Manager to work in all aspects of our food service business including Aged Care, Education Facilities and Industrial Canteens. The role comprises travelling to various sites and quickly gaining an understanding of the operation; food service and effective and efficient day to day management. You will be required to provide a high quality catering service, manage a dedicated team, operate the facility within budget guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

Roster: 40 hours per week - across Monday to Sunday

Salary: $60,000 plus travel allowance

Key Responsibilities:

Bulk cooking and serving fresh home style meals with adherence to service times with consistency and quality of food product
Responsible for preparation of special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, vegetarian, gluten free; supplements and texture modified soft & purees
Kitchen management including budgets, ordering & stock control
Management of staff & rosters, including kitchen & front of house
Maintaining Food Safety Programs; safe and hygienic food practices in a clean and safe environment
Building and maintaining client relationships
Managing the facility within guidelines

Key Criteria:

Trade Qualified Chef
A passion for producing great food and customer service
Willingness to embrace Cater Care's values of Care Pride Community
Excellent communication skills with varying stakeholders
Have a strong understanding of HACCP
Previous management experience in rosters, menu planning and financial reporting

The successful candidate ideally will have previous experience in a similar role working in the Aged Care or Education sector. You will be a well presented and self-motivated individual who has excellent organisational & communication skills.
