The role
It’s a scientific fact that humanity runs on coffee, and for that reason Gilbert + Tobin are currently looking for an experienced Barista to join our in-house corporate café team, based in Barangaroo working 7am-4pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remember to have fun while you work!
- Don’t forget that you are part of G+T, not just the café team – so chat with us as well, not just your La Marzocco coffee machine!,
- And of course consistently make great coffee!
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure the coffee area is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Identifying and reporting any food safety hazards
- Ensuring that all food is handled appropriately as per the Health and Safety Guidelines
- Preparing food, ordering and managing food and beverage requirements for the Café, including a variety of menus
- Establishing and maintaining daily and weekly cleaning rosters in accordance with hospitality health guidelines

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Exceptional Barista skills
- Superior customer service skills
- A good sense of humour
