Overview

Flagship corporate CBD Café requires experienced & talented Full-Time Head Chef & Cook to deliver quality and creativity whilst under pressure & meeting the needs of a discerning corporate clientele. We are seeking true industry professionals that enjoy being part of an energetic and small team.

Core Responsibilities

• A minimum 3 years' experience working as a Chef/ Cook
• Proven experience working in a high-volume environment
• Calm under pressure and always friendly and approachable
• Menu planning and costing (with a creative bent)
• Working to set budgets with wage, food costs and general expenses
• Optimal product stock level maintenance and ordering

Ideally you...

• Have a consistently strong work ethic, energy and a 'can-do' attitude
• Have a knowledge of Food Safety and OHS Standards
• Are a Permanent Australian Resident
• Have experience in both Breakfast and Lunch
• Have some pastry / baking skills
• A café or pub-style background would suit this fast paced environment
