An exciting opportunity exists to join the Cruise department of Abercrombie & Kent Australia, a luxury travel company operating in more than 50 countries. Reporting to the Cruise Ambassador this role is responsible for managing a portfolio of cruise accounts, across all the ports of Australia, ensuring meticulous pre-season planning and smooth delivery of the operation.
This role is responsible for:
- Providing high quality ground services for contracted cruise ships visiting Australia
- Managing Cruise Accounts and handling operational issues related to Cruise shore excursions.
- Working closely with the Contracting Manager to ensure that all rates are negotiated favourably.
- Communicating with the on-board Cruise ship Shore Excursions Manager to ensure high quality ground service in all ports
- Ensuring the successful and profitable management of cruise calls
We are seeking someone with;
- Extensive experience in the Cruise Industry (4+ years)
- Excellent product knowledge of the ports of Australia
- Previous account management experience would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Australian Inbound Cruise Industry
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging situations quickly and effectively
- Commitment to the highest level of customer service
