The Role

We are looking for a senior consultant to join our growing team.  We require a multi-skilled consultant who can look after both domestic and international travel, has experience with groups and logistics, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in consulting.

The successful candidate MUST be tech savvy and confident in using cloud platforms. They will be responsible for managing a range of bookings for clients providing end to end Group Logistics and Entertainment Travel bookings.  They will need to have excellent organisational skills, be able to multi-task, cope under pressure, have an eye for detail and be customer and solution focussed.  Building strong relationships is a key component of this role, so the candidate must have outstanding interpersonal communication skills.

The role is a work-from-home role however the successful applicant will work closely with the team across all bookings and projects. It is a unique environment and the successful applicant will need to be self-reliant, flexible and a team player to function effectively in this role. 

This role reports directly to the Managing Director and owner of the company. 

To be successful in this position, the candidate will need to have met the following: 

SELECTION CRITERIA

Specialist/Technical Expertise

• Five years + working with groups and logistics essential (entertainment industry desirable but not essential)
• GDS experience, preferably Amadeus, and ticketing knowledge essential
• Experience with Tramada highly desirable
• A high level of Microsoft Excel skills
• Confident in the use of cloud storage platforms and online communications applications

Skills

• Proven ability to manage group travel including the coordination of large flight groups and group flight inventory
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work across teams
• Outstanding team player who leads by example
• Superior negotiation and financial management skills
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of exceptional customer service and detailed travel itineraries for clients 
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and develop and maintain strong business relationships

The role is full-time and ongoing -  business hours 9:30am-6pm Monday-Friday with some after hours and weekend required.
