SUPERNORMAL, IN MELBOURNE'S CBD IS SEEKING A TALENTED HEAD CHEF TO JOIN THE GROUP.
The advantages of running this extremely busy restaurant are:
· A consistent roster with a large team which helps with roster flexibility.
· The ability to take a weekend off here or there, guilt free! (Every night is a Saturday night at Supernormal)
· A healthy budget to keep updating equipment and tableware, or purchasing that new and innovative tool.
· It's always busy at Supernormal. You needn't worry about the revenue being low.
· Not to mention, there's no issues with fluctuating trade, or trying to keep up with MEP during a sudden spike in business.
Supernormal is located on Flinders lane, only a short walk to Flinders st train station, minimising your commute time and eliminating the need to drive in each day. Not to mention the 24hr public transport on the weekends.
Creating interesting, inspiring and tasty menus is made easier, with close relationships with boutique farmers, and an in-house butcher and a wide network of talented chefs within the group to gain inspiration and knowledge from.
This position is a long-term role and we don't want you to burn out or stagnate. Which is why the McConnell group offer external management training to help you cope with the demands of an extremely busy restaurant. This ever expanding group are often looking within for talent to help build new opportunities, so there's always something to work towards on the horizon. We need you to stay inspired and motivated to keep this machine at the forefront of interesting, casual dining for years to come.
