Barangaroo House & Bea
Bea is situated on the first floor of Barangaroo House. With an open room with panoramic water views, this restaurant has defined contemporary Australian cuisine with Head Chef Cory Campbell (ex Noma and Vue de Monde) at the helm.

What is the role?
With approximately 130 seats inside and 50 outside, Bea is a new style of high end dining that is not "fine-dining" (no white table clothes in sight!)

The purpose of this role is to be the consistent support to the Restaurant Manager. As the Assistant Manager, you will be a natural leader who can inspire, train and grow a team of professionals around you.

Day to day, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering and driving our service of "fun-dining" - this means building genuine rapport and engaging with our customers
  • Training and developing a team of wait staff and runners
  • Work closely with the incredibly talented wine team

What are we looking for?  
We are looking for our next generation leader, so you’ll need to be driven and inspired to grow. Ideally you will come from a high-end restaurant background, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be truly customer-focused.
  
If you have a base knowledge of wages, COG’s and other BOH functions – great!
If not – no worries – we can teach you.
