This is an ideal opportunity for a professional talented Sous Chef  who exhibits culinary talents to join our team. During this exciting and vibrant renovation phase this is the excellent time to make your mark with your leadership skills and by ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

With our new and vibrant Executive Chef to lead the team, you will assist with planning and constructing all aspects of a new tantalising menu to delight our patrons and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all food items are prepared as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure that a consistent product of the highest quality is achieved and maintained in all food operations, whilst adhering to operational deadlines.
  • Responsible for the supervision of all the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef and/or Head Chef and their activities within the Kitchen department.
  • Ensure that weekly work schedules, prep lists and daily tasks are undertaken to a high level and standard. 
  • Responds to and handles customer problems and complaints
  • Ensure that the kitchen department adheres to all club and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Interacts with FOH to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Harrup Park Country Club has a new and modern Function Centre, 200 new gaming machines, bars and café as well as our new exciting Bistro. We hold world class sporting matches and are about to undergo an exciting and vibrant renovation to the whole Club.
