Responsible for the overall management of Food & Beverage Operations, inclusive of the restaurant, room service, bar, mini bar and conferencing & events. This role requires exceptional people skills to ensure staff are highly engaged exceeding customer service combined with a high level of commercial acumen to maximize revenue and profitability.

Working closely with the General Manager the key elements of this role include:

• Provide hands on day-to-day operational support to the entire department
• Create a team that works together with trust and takes responsibility to meet the goals of the hotel
• Facilitate all team training
• Ensure constant liaison and communication with all internal and external stakeholders of the hotel. Showcase F&B within the Group and be a true leader
• Assist in the preparation of monthly restaurant, bar, and conference reports, commenting on key performance indicators including fiscal outcomes and guest experience
• Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar, room service and conference areas, including staff rosters, fiscal controls with guest centric approach
• Be an integral member of the Head of Department leadership team.
