  • Full time role Monday to Friday - no night shifts required
  • Cook chill site with opportunity to prepare fresh meals
  • Banora Point NSW location, close to Tweed Heads
Your role

As part of our successful Hotel Services team, your role as Chef Manager includes managing all operational requirements in a commercial kitchen, while working alongside the rest of the kitchen team. Duties include: 

  • Reheating high quality, nutritious meals for senior residents
  • Preparation of fresh dishes as required
  • Adapting dishes to suit dietary, allergy and modified food requirements
  • Ensuring all food is prepared and served in accordance with legislation
  • Managing employee matters including rostering, training and performance
  • Assisting the Residential Manager with associated budgets and costs

What do we need from you?



Qualifications


  • Certificate III Commercial Cookery or similar
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Food Handling and Hygiene certificate

Requirements of the Role


  • Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen cooking for 100+
  • Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe regulations
  • Demonstrated experience managing team performance
  • Current national police check (or the ability to obtain one) 
  • Evidence of Australian work rights
