About the business
Knight's Coffee & Tea is a hole-in-the-wall espresso bar located near central station. We use the Campos Superior blend as our house blend and then offer a wide array of rotating single origin and micro-lot coffee as both espresso and filter. We pride ourselves on remembering customer names and orders and will expect the right candidate to do the same.
About the role
-We are looking for someone who loves coffee in all its forms
-You will be working as part of a team of five other Baristas
-Your main focus will be the making of espresso based and filter beverages in line with our systems and processes and taking customer orders
-We need someone who can cover hours similar to the following: Monday 6.30am-1pm, Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 7.30am-12pm and Saturday 7.30am-3.30pm
-Additional duties: washing dishes, opening the store, closing the store and general cleaning duties

Skills and experience
-Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in fast paced espresso bars
-Your latte art must be strong (Rosettas & Hearts)
-You should know how to dial in a grinder and how to refer to brew recipes
-You must have exceptional English Language skills as the environment is very busy and our system is based on verbal communication
-You must have working rights (we DO NOT do cash in hand)
