About the business and the role

Swiss-Belhotel Brisbane is a premium, full service hotel designed for business and leisure travellers looking for comprehensive and well-appointed international-standard facilities enhanced with efficient and attentive service.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance person who will work as part of our team and be responsible for the day to day maintenance of hotel facilities. Reporting to the GM, this role will suit someone who is very hands. 

• The nature of the position is very much a hands on role.  
• We prefer to engage an experienced person who is capable of using initiative, scheduling work and planning for preventative maintenance.
• The position requires working in both guest and staff areas, so the ability to relate to people from all walks is essential.
• Responsible for day to day operations and upkeep of all maintenance to accommodation, facilities, plant and equipment, and guest services.
• Ensure projects and duties are completed productively and to a high standard.
• Ability to maintain records is essential.
• Pool care experience is an advantage.
• Some cleaning of hotel areas like car park and surrounding areas will be required.
• Paint work and patching in rooms, as and when required.
• General ground work and garden care.
