Food & Beverage Supervisor

A Food & Beverage Supervisor with Hilton Brisbane is responsible for effectively leading Restaurant and Conference & Events teams to deliver an excellent guest experience while optimising operational efficiency and ensuring department targets are met.

What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor you would be required to oversee the operations and provide leadership to the team to ensure department targets are met. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
• Ensure high standards and SOP’s are being consistently followed
• Guide and lead your team through service with a smile
• Walk the talk, be engaged and close to the operations side of the department
• Ensure compliance of brand standards
• Follow cash handling procedures
• Provide effective leadership and ensure targets are met and exceeded both for the hotel and individual development

Physical Duties

A Food & Beverage Supervisor is required to perform the following physical duties:

• Continuous walking/ standing for periods of approximately 8 hours with the exception of normal work breaks.
• Regularly carrying trays and plates of food
• Regular twisting and bending
• Lifting/moving furniture such as chairs and tables
• Move and carry function boxes and other equipment
• Push and pull trolleys
• Lift and move cutlery & glass racks

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Previous supervisor experience in Food & Beverage within the 4 to 5 star establishment
• Extensive knowledge of food and wine
• Ability to think on your feet
