Rydges Camperdown is a 144 room hotel located just minutes from the Sydney CBD. We are seeking applications from a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual from Front Office background to take on a Full Time role of Duty Manager within our Front Office team.
A Front Office Duty Manager is the face of the hotel, someone who is energetic and extremely positive, yet has that calming influence on both staff and guests. Front Office Duty Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's daily Operations. Range of duties including but are not limited to: interacting with guests, anticipating and attending to guests needs, checking guests in/out, providing training to team members, hotel reservations, being actively involved in every service department of the hotel including Food & Beverage, and providing a level of service quality that consistently not only meets, but also exceeds the expectations of our guests.
The successful candidate needs to possess the following experience and skills:
- Experience in a Duty Manager/Front Office Supervisor role
- Experience with OPERA PMS
- Ability to Supervise and lead a team
- Extremely professional telephone & email etiquette
- Flexible and adaptable to a rotating roster, including weekends, Public Holidays and nights
