Ahoy there! We are a fast paced, busy, pun filled café + bar on Brisbane’s North Side needing a hospitality all round professional shift manager to join our team! We run two cafes including a bar (RSA is essential) and need a joyful, hard working team player who will fit in with our busy, cheerful establishment. You will need to be a responsible, trust worthy, barista all-star who is capable of working occasionally by yourself as well as in a team environment. This is a full time role offering 38-42 hours a week.

This is a management level role for a happy professional hospitality multi tasker which is continuing to grow with a new bar and extending to new night time service. Other part time roles are also becoming available.
This role will include managing day to day café activities, organizing reservations, making a great cup of coffee, and serving our wonderful customers. It will also extend to adding to our social media presence and very importantly maintaining a clean and healthy working environment. The business has grown to such an extent that we are now looking for the right person to work IN the café while we continue to work ON the business. The successful applicant, once proven in the business, will have great opportunities for growth as the business continues to develop.
The Front of House Shift Manager we are looking for needs to:
- Be able to create latte art, know how to test, taste and change the grind daily, work with a house, single origin and decaf bean, work with cold drip and filter coffee (or be ready to learn) and be able to texturize the hell out of almond, lactose free, soy and coconut milk
- Have an Exceptionally happy attitude and be able to empathise with customers, greeting them, serving them, remembering them.
- Have good organizational skills when it comes to managing and organizing staff roles
- A Vibrant professional personality who gets along easily with others
- A Team player with a helpful attitude while being trustworthy and Responsible
- Show forward thinking and problem solving along with excellent time management skills and great Leadership qualities
