Fantasea Cruising Sydney is looking for experienced and professional masters aboard our range of fast ferries
About the role:
We currently have openings for:
- Master <24m with MEDIII to operate our fast ferries on scheduled services and on occasional charters.
- Master <35m with an open ticket to operate our flagship vessel Fantasea Catalina.
What we're looking for:
Dynamic masters who can work well with other people in challenging environments.
Key application criteria includes:
- Current Master <24m and MED III (minimum) or Master <35m (open)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Experience operating vessels similar to the Fantasea fleet
- High level of seamanship and vessel handling
- High level of self-motivation and organisational skills
- High level of personal presentation and leadership
- Proven interpersonal skills and a strong ability to communicate at all levels
- Energetic and positive
- Available to work weekends and public holidays
- Australian citizen, resident or permanent working visa
Desirable:
- Sydney Harbour Certificate of Local Knowledge
- Marine engine driving knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computers
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and Word
