The Company:
Fresh+ currently operate a large number of hospital cafés across NSW, QLD, and SA, providing food, beverages, and convenience retail to hospital staff and the general public. We are now looking for a talented hospitality professional to manage our Fresh+ Tweed Heads site.
About the role
Reporting to the National Operations Manager of Fresh+, as the Store Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional operational and commercial standards throughout the Tweed Heads Hospital site. The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance in all areas of operational activity and drive sales and profitability through the performance and development of Team Leaders.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Uphold very high standards of café presentation, customer service, and food quality.
- manage the performance and morale of a small team.
- oversee and assist with food preparation and presentation.
- oversee and assist with barista duties.
- manage stock movement and administration.
- improve the café's potential through professional operations.
- establish long-term relationships with customers and the community.
About you:
- You will have AWESOME customer service skills and a personality to match!
- You will have experience as a manager of a similar type establishment.
- Experience working in a franchised food environment would be highly regarded.
- You will have worked in a HACCP certified business
- You will have food preparation and presentation experience (sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, simple hot food).
- You will have sound barista skills.
- You will have an excellent understanding of kitchen operations
- You will excellent business acumen
- You are available to work to a flexible roster, weekend work is required.
- Hold a current food safety supervisors certificate
