Rydges Camperdown is a 144 rooms hotel located just minutes from Sydney CBD. The hotel has Rowley's Restaurant & Bar and three conference rooms and 24 hour room service.
We are seeking applicants for an experienced and highly motivated Commis Chef. If you have a strong passion for cooking, love working with a great team of professionals and know how to work hard and have fun then this might be the role for you!
The successful candidate must have;
- Current HACCP and relevant food safety accreditation
- Have previous experience in a variety of kitchen operations, including buffet style
- Have a strong work ethic ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of all meal requirements
- Excellent personal hygiene and presentation
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Have flexible availability to work various shifts across 7 days of the week
