Clancy's Fish Pub City Beach is seeking a highly skilled and motivated fully qualified Bar Manager.
Clancy's Fish Bar City Beach is beach side restaurant with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. We specialise in quality but casual dining, with the emphasis on seafood and local fresh product, great craft beer and wines.
We are looking for an experienced, energetic and mature person to work closely with the General Manager and Restaurant Manager. Your primary role will be, to work in the restaurant bar, maintain beer systems, stock control and provide leadership & direction, training and development of the staff across the beverage offering within the group.
We are seeking a person with the following skills:
- Extensive knowledge of premium spirits, craft beer, international wine and cocktails.
- Full knowledge of cool room and beer systems
- Full knowledge of ordering/stock receipt/rotation/stocktake/stock decrementation/GP’s
The successful candidate should be able to:
- Create wine lists in conjunction with GM and RM
- Develop the venues beverage menu offerings seasonally.
- Create and cost weekly/monthly specials not limited to cocktails & feature products.
- Implement on trend products, services and experiences.
- Create & deliver innovative trainings not limited to: product knowledge, service techniques & wine tastings within the venue.
- Liaise with preferred suppliers and representatives.
- Be available to work a flexible roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Comply with OHS and Liquor Licencing compliance
