Recent enhancements focused on improving and expanding visitor experiences and education while preserving the charm, heritage and spirit of the site. We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join us.
As a Sous Chef your key responsibilities would include :
•Assist the Head Chef to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen and food preparation areas, with appropriate attention to hygiene and cleanliness
•The Sous Chef in conjunction with the Head Chef will develop new and exciting menus on a seasonal
•The Sous Chef will ensure the implementation of best practice systems and operating procedures that maximise efficiency and production and minimise waste and expenditure
•Kitchen Staff development and coaching
You will demonstrate a passion for local produce and ideally a strong wine knowledge. You will also have strong planning and communication skills, and have exceptional time management with the ability to prioritize your workload. Relevant trade qualification in cooking and hospitality required and a minimum of 4 years' experience necessary.
