Effectively oversee and direct the venue and entire operation in a smooth and operational manner
To manage all staffing recruitment, levels and rotas within the venue function, staying in line with staffing budgets whilst maintaining a low staff turnover rate
To ensure all company service standards are established, adhered to and implemented without fail and to investigate and correct any shortcomings from the service team
Guide and lead by example in all areas of restaurant conduct
To be aware of everything going on within the venue and its departments and deal with any queries/complaints
Liaise and co-operate effectively with all other associated members of staff in relation to all aspects of the production and service of food, ensuring standards are met on a daily basis
To prepare and manage forecasts and budgets
To manage PR and marketing strategy of the business
Create systems to train and develop employees
Provide advice, coaching, feedback and mentoring to team members
Promote safe use of the venue, equipment and building under HACCAP regulations
To encourage, motivate and develop all staff members to set goals in relation to revenue targets
Ad hoc duties assigned by the Director
Assume full accountability for venue stock and profitability
