Job tasks and responsibilities

Responsible for delivering high end cuisine to guests at Bird in Hand including The gallery restaurant, small eats, public and private bespoke events, high end internal Bird in Hand PR events and internal staff events.

We are looking for a Sous Chef that will work closely with our Head Chef. With the opportunity to assist in creating dishes and structuring our menu through the seasons. This role requires a team player, who is hard working, dedicated and is passionate about food and wine. 

The role is casual with the opportunity to become a permanent team member for the right employee. You will work a Friday to Tuesday day shift roster. However, there may be occasions where you will be required to work outside of these times.

Skills and experience

Must have experience working as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant.
