About The Role
The historic and prestigious Fremantle Sailing Club provides extensive facilities and a supportive environment in which groups of like-minded members share in competitive and recreational boating, aquatic and social activities.
The Club is steeped in tradition with an exciting members’ restaurant & bar, prominently located on the Fremantle waterfront.
From intimate affairs to large scale events, we are looking for experienced and professional Chefs to enhance our dining experience.
To work in our restaurant and functions kitchens, you must be able to work as part of a team or on your on your own depending on business requirements. Full-time and casual positions are available. The successful applicants must have an enthusiastic positive attitude and be able to cope with pressure and have a passion for the hospitality industry.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Must be a Qualified Chef
- Previous experience in a restaurant and functions environment is essential
- Must be able to to prepare food to the highest standards
- Strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of current food trends
- Maintaining & reporting when stocks and supplies are low
- Maintaining and cleaning of kitchen area
- Flexible hours to suit
