Cairns' premier cocktail bar turn late night intimate dance venue is looking for a new captain at the helm!
After being operational for well over 3 years now we have established ourselves as the place to be for locals and tourists alike to run shoulders and experience the best cocktails and DJ's all under one roof. Situated in the heart of the CBD, below the pedigree of all night clubs- The Woolshed, we're going from strength to strength and need an ambitious and motivated bar supervisor to jump in the mix and bring fresh ideas and strengths to the team in order to stay ahead of the rest.
Previous cocktail/supervisor/ management experience is compulsory, and the ideal candidate is someone who is in touch with what makes good drinks, a good atmosphere and a keen focus on running a tight ship in terms of bar operations, cleanliness and the promotion of a productive team atmosphere. A knowledge and understanding of the local market would be hugely advantageous in this role, as assisting in pushing our current social media outlets and the creation of new promo's and ideas will be encompassed into the role, as we constantly develop our brand to be as appealing as possible to those who pass through our doors.

Other duties will include:
- Involvement in writing cocktail recipes/menus and specials, bar operation procedures.
- Stock control and stock take.
- Involvement in managing our frequent functions in The Cotton Club in liason with our Functions Coordinator.
