SkyPoint is located on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast’s Q1 building and is truly an extraordinary venue, 230 meters in the sky. We currently seek to fill vacant frontline Team Leader role working across Guest Services and Food and Beverage.

Our guest services team provide the first point of contact for our visitors at SkyPoint by welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner; facilitating front entry, processing entry tickets and generating sales through both ticketing and retail. Once on the observation deck, our food & beverage team ensure exceptional SkyPoint experience is delivered to our guests with offerings including a-la-carte dining, coffees and cocktails.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, our Team Leaders are responsible for providing hands-on leadership, training and direction to our frontline Team Members, ensuring efficient daily operations, product quality and sales targets are achieved, as well as ensuring our guests receive an exceptional and memorable SkyPoint customer service experience.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Previous leadership experience within a similar high-volume hospitality environment
  • Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding customer service experience
  • Ability to lead by example, train, coach and motivate team members at the frontline
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experience working with POS Database Systems and competent cash handling/management
  • Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks
This is a part-time position which guarantees between 20 – 38 hours per week. Full availability and flexibility with working hours is essential as weekend, early morning and evening work is involved.
