Description

Reporting The Boathouse Groups Executive Chef the role will enable you to;

• Take responsibility and the lead the brigade of their newly acquired venue - Barrenjoey House
• Work in an innovative and forward thinking environment where voicing your opinion is encouraged
• Work in a beautiful waterfront location
• Focusing on product, processes and people - this role is integral to the venues overall success at the groups continually aim to be the heard of the community for classic Australian beach-side experiences.

Currently undergoing a refurb and freshen up, this stunning venue is set to swing its doors and relaunch in Summer 2018, offering lunch and dinner service trading across 7 days. This role is an immediate requirement, as the appointed Head Chef will be brought up to speed on the company’s processes and systems before taking control of Barrenjoey House.

Profile

To seize this opportunity you will need;

• Past experience in a head chef or kitchen management position
• A sound understanding of operational management relating to rostering, stocktaking, cost management and ordering
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a management style that encourages a positive culture
• A positive attitude
• To love what you do and have fun doing it!

Job Offer

The salary on offer for this position is made up of a base salary of around $85 - $90K + superannuation dependant upon experience.
