The Wallis Complex at Mount Barker, including The Oak & Iron Tavern, Thriller Pizza Bar, Auchendarroch House & the multi-cinema complex, is undergoing some exciting renovations and is currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional.
About You - Key Criteria
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a similar venue
- Must hold Gaming & RSA Licences
- Understanding of wage costs, yield management & rostering
- Proven Customer Service Focus and must champion the highest standards of service
- Effective team management skills (motivating, training and supporting)
- Remain calm under pressure
- A natural trouble-shooter
- Be fit and energetic
- Reliable, flexible & available any days/times
- Be an articulate communicator with good IT skills
About the Role
Full-time and rostered across 7 days, including shared weekend work, you will be part of a small team of 3 Duty Managers who over-see all aspects of the venue operations from Tavern to Bistro through to functions in historic Auchendarroch House and Gaming.
