Here at Veneziano Coffee Roasters, we’re a team of coffee professionals obsessed with discovering the next best thing in coffee and sharing it with our customers and coffee lovers alike.

In July 2018, our Veneziano Coffee Café will open in Richmond, Melbourne. This is Veneziano Coffee Roaster’s first Melbourne flagship Café. Our Cafe will showcase the very best coffee and hospitality experience!

The opening of our flagship café means we have a range of exciting opportunities available. We are looking for hospitality professionals with a passion for providing an exceptional coffee and dining experience.

The successful candidate for the Kitchen Porter position will be responsible for providing a friendly, individualised customer experience, ensuring the highest quality standards and dining experience along with the general day-to-day tasks of operating the Veneziano Cafe.

Key aspects of the role;

• Follow procedures and direction to maintain the Kitchen to a high standard of product quality and hygiene;
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the kitchen facilities;
• Ensure all dishes and cutlery is sanitised and maintained;
• Assisting employees who are cooking, with the preparation, replenishment and rotation of stock.

You will demonstrate;

• Passion for great food and coffee along with learning more about it;
• Prior experience working as a Kitchen Porter within the hospitality industry, ideally within a leading hospitality establishment;
• Solid work ethic;
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness;
• Excellent verbal communication;
• Unlimited work rights.
