About the Role

We are seeking a qualified chef with a commitment to excellence in food production and a passion for patisserie to join our busy catering team. In this role you will responsible for the efficient preparation, cooking and serving of high quality catering for patients, staff and internal and external functions. To be successful you will be professional, proactive and have experience in both pasty and general cookery. You will have a strong team focus and exceptional customer service.

Skills and Experience

• Trade Certificate in catering/chef or HACCP Training Certificate
• Food hygiene certificate
• Previous experience as a pastry chef
• Demonstrated experience as a chef in a large scale food preparation environment
• Excellent organisational skills and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain good working relationships with others
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Experience within a health care environment desirable
