Bar Manager – Fat Controller Club

• Adelaide’s leading live music venue
• Work with some of best Australian music brands

Over the last three years, the Fat Controller Club has become one of Adelaide’s favourite late night live music venues. We are seeking an experienced, energetic and mature person to work closely with and reporting to the Venue Manager and General Manager. Your role will involve weekend evening/night shifts and some weekday hours.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for staff behaviour behind the bar ensuring that the high quality of service is maintained 
• Ensure all liquor licensing good trading practices are being followed by all bartenders 
• Follow late night trading code of practices behind the bar (shots, cocktails ect.)
• Resolve any issues that arise with staff entering incorrect values into the IMPOS system during service 
• Be in contact with security following any incidents and be present for any use of forces where the venue manager is not present
• Count and track stock to ensure all levels do not have any excess variance.
• Send recommended orders through to the operational manager for orders to be placed.
• Order any further supplies needed for venue operation
• Receive all stock and ensure it is delivered in good condition for sale.
• Make sure venue is clean and set up ready for trade on the week
• Monitor staff safety
• Ensure all information that should be reasonably shared across all personnel 
• Lost property returns 
• Maintain high efficiency of all staff and venue as a whole 
• Promote awareness of and compliance with anti-discrimination principles and practices.
• Work with management to oversee and supervise the work of all staff members
• Other duties as assigned

Required:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• RSA and Responsible Person experience
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure
• Must be computer literate
