Our National Company specialises in group travel for the senior market and we are looking to expand our team in the Noosa Heads area.
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable travel consultant with back office experience in the accounting area.
To be successful in this position, you will need to show:
High level of organisational and administrative skills with an attention to detail.
Articulate and friendly customer service.
- At least 5 years Experience in international travel
- Professional and friendly communication skills.
- Ability to work independently from your home office
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and with multiple of people.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Thorough knowledge of destinations.
Your key duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Quoting of Tours for Franchisees and Head Office Customers.
- Processing of Travel bookings.
- Reconciliation of Group Travel Accounts.
- Advise on Travel Insurance and upsell the group to Travel Insurance.
- Take on phone enquiries.
- Create and distribute room listings and running sheets.
- Administration duties such as welcome packs and confirmations packs.
- Processing EOM and a good knowledge of Cross Check Travel.
- Experience in Galileo an advantage
- Back of House accounting functions would be an advantage
