The Job
A highly autonomous role managing our existing retail leisure travel accounts as well as focusing on developing new opportunities within your sales regions. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of national sales strategies, marketing planning, Key account management, sales forecasts & reporting, new product development and the execution of overall business strategies.

The Successful Candidate
You are an experienced, 'hands-on', outcome focused passionate sales professional with a strong commitment to developing your business network and the ability to work and engage with the Sales, Marketing and Product teams. This role will require a flexible approach working from home and independently out on-the-road.

Cox & Kings is the oldest travel company in the world with its office in Australia based in Melbourne. Additional brands include Tempo Holidays and Bentours as a primary focus. Additionally, brands such as Explore and Hurtigruten form integral partnerships. Cox & Kings is a preferred wholesale supplier to all major Australia & NZ retail chains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage existing relationships with our retail partners.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to develop new business opportunities.
- Utilise market insights, your professional network, personal research and acquired data to develop new business opportunities.
- Arrange and participate in trade and consumer events with national retail partners.
- Responsibility for achieving regional sales revenues in-line with forecast revenue targets.
- Work with the Sales, Marketing and Product teams to develop and implement end-to-end sales strategies including providing market feedback on product development, marketing activities and competitor analyses.
- Maintain a clearly documented sales funnel.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar or complimentary role within the travel industry.
- Appropriate computer skills (Microsoft Office) and knowledge of travel industry booking platforms.
- The ability to maintain and develop relationships with key national retail accounts.
