ALH Group is Australia’s largest Hotel operator with over 300 pubs and clubs across the country and we are seeking dedicated chefs of all qualifications to join our team in a fast pace and friendly environment. Within this role you will work under pressure within a team, preparing high quality menu items at the Macquarie Inn in Dubbo. This role operates under a rotating roster with the opportunity for career advancement.

Requirements
•Tertiary qualifications are essential
•Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
•Innovative and passionate about delivery of quality foods and service
•Encouraging others to participate in the development of new menus
•Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety laws and regulations is essential
•Current driver’s licence is advantageous
•Correct manual handling techniques and food hygiene are essential
•Overall personal presentation, hygiene and punctuality is vital
•Food safety supervisor certificate preferred

Duties and Responsibilities
•Preparing food and menu items before service
•Delegating tasks fairly to fellow colleagues providing assistance if necessary
•Complete tasks in a timely manner
•Work within a team environment and to remain calm under pressure
•Ability to train, coach and assist fellow colleagues in a friendly work environment
•You have a duty to work during peak trading periods (Easter, Christmas and New Year’s Eve) this also includes any other public holiday
•Report to the Venue Manager on interests, ideas and/or any conflicts that may arise
