Cater Care are seeking Casual Catering Assistants for Aged Care facility based at Peregian Springs.
The key to our success is our people. Reporting to the Site Manager, your role in this environment is to provide a warm and welcoming food service to our valued residents.
Roster: Various hours available for Breakfast/Lunch and Dinner service across 7 days.
Please note: Police check clearance required before commencing
Key Responsibilities
- Exceptional customer service, serving food to elderly residents
- Delivery of special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified soft & purees
- Assisting with food preparation as requested by Chef
- General cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas including washing dishes
- Setting up and platting up up food trolley and dining room
- Compliance to food safety hygiene and food handling/preparation procedures
- Ability to work independently in a professional kitchen environment
- Previous experience within Aged Care food service or working with vulnerable persons
Please note: Our Aged Care Site operates 7days/week including weekends and public holidays
Successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role working in Aged Care, be well presented and self-motivated with a strong focus on customer care.
