1834 Hotels have a specific opportunity available now in Mudgee (NSW), and we are always seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates for future roles nationally.

Minutes from the centre of town, set on 30 acres of landscaped gardens and lawns, the stunning Parklands Resort & Conference Centre, Mudgee, is a popular choice for leisure and corporate travellers. The property boasts 68 well-presented accommodation rooms, significant MICE facilities including large auditorium, and an onsite restaurant and bar. Accor franchised, there are plans currently in progress for the property to undergo a refurbishment program and become a branded property in the near future.
We are now seeking a hard working, dedicated, hospitality management professional with a passion for driving sales, developing teams, managing expenses and delivering exceptional customer experiences to lead the team in Mudgee.
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate,
- A passion for tourism & hospitality, with at least 3 years General Management experience, including accommodation and food & beverage management
- Recent accommodation management experience in a competitive market and a strong comprehension of revenue and yield management principles is essential
- Proven ability to maximise profitability, through effective cost management and driving sales
- Previous experience managing food & beverage outlets within an accommodation environment with event management, including large functions, highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills, outstanding communication (verbal & written), and exceptional time management
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of hospitality business operations, with a strong financial acumen
- Willingness to take a hands-on management approach to develop, motivate and lead a professional and dynamic team, across all departments
- A focus and commitment to delivering high standards of service and product quality, to consistently exceed customer expectations whilst ensuring best practices are achieved
- Previous project management/experience with refurbishment programs will be highly regarded
- Previous working knowledge of various PMS, Channel Management and POS systems
- Previous experience with H&L will be considered favourably
