We have the rare opportunity for a Function & Event Coordinator to join the ST. ALi family.
ST. ALi a unique and progressive Melbourne based Specialty coffee company with a great company culture.
We are looking for an individual with an event management background, preferably in the Hospitality industry, with good planning and operational skills. This is a full time position that will offer the right person the freedom to use their knowledge and experience to restructure and grow our function and event packages.
You will be leading and overseeing the delivery of a range of events and functions across our different venues as well as external events.
Attributes we are looking for include :
- Ability to develop / coordinate tailored menu's, floor plans, function set ups and event orders
- Good understanding of food and beverage catering
- Exceptional interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to oversee the full function & event cycle: securing events, negotiation, quotation, generation of contract & deposit and post event follow-up
- Exposure to multiple event planning platforms
- Professional manner, understanding the importance of consistent quality customer service
- And of course, a positive attitude and a love for quality specialty coffee
