This iconic hotel offers its patrons true Australian hospitality and great food. They are now seeking a Duty Manager with strong gaming, restaurant and bar management experience.
The workplace
The Hotel has been a centre for the town's entertainment since the early 1900's and is one of the regions landmarks. The venue operates 7 days and has number of bars, a restaurant, functions rooms, a bottle shop and offers gaming to its patrons.
The gig
You will be responsible of the daily operation of a 200 seater restaurant, bars, gaming and the bottle shop whilst on duty. The upmarket bistro is busy during both lunch and dinner, especially during the weekend trade. The high-volume bars are backed up by a busy bottle shop and gaming area. Working closely with management, you will lead and direct between 20-30 staff each shift. Your roster is spread over 5 days with a mixture of opening and closing shifts, including weekend work, but with some weekend days off during each month.
About you:
- Solid experience in a similar role /venue
- Current RSA and RSG Certificates
- Current RMLV and Approved Managers Licence
- Proven ability to manage service, safety and security
- Basic computer skills
- Stocktake, stock control and ordering experience
Note: TAB, Keno, Gaming and end of month procedures as well as TITO would be highly regarded
