About the Role
Located just 10min out of Toowoomba CBD, the Highfields Tavern is currently seeking a full time enthusiastic, outgoing, and friendly Assistant Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the Venue Manager in successfully operating a multimillion dollar business and will have the opportunity to support and grow the business. The successful applicant will be energetic, enthusiastic and will need to demonstrate:
- Proven success in a hospitality management role or are looking to take the next step
- Have current certifications including RMLV
- Good presentation and attention to detail
- The ability to work within a team environment
- The ability to professionally supervise, train and direct staff
- Have stock control skills
- Have the ability to deliver and maintain a customer experience that is of a consistently high service standard
Your ability to deliver and maintain a customer experience that is of a consistently high service standard will see you excel in this position. As well the ability to lead a team and pass your skills and knowledge onto keen hospitality people seeking a career within this industry
Ideally the successful candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, be motivated and willing to listen and learn.
Availability for day and night shifts including weekends is a must.
