WHAT WE ARE:

It boasts Melbourne's most striking architecture over 2 separate buildings: a Restaurant & Bar (120 pax sit-down) and a Diner (70 pax sit-down) including an outdoor beer garden (200 pax). WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:
We are seeking an experienced Sales, Function & Office professional who possesses exceptional organisational, time management and people skills. This person must be enthusiastic, committed and proactive.
As Event Coordinator specialising and focusing in sales, you will book and plan all of the events throughout the venue, ranging from corporate events, intimate wine dinners through to large scale weddings as well as handling all of the administrative tasks associated with running these events.
The following are a list of skills & qualities that are needed in the role:
- At least two years experience in a similar position.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and immaculate presentation.
- Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to work with and manage multiple clients and their details simultaneously.
- Work closely with relevant department managers to ensure the menus, running sheets and all data is handed over in a timely manner to ensure the events success
- Competent in the entire life-cycle of an event from the organisation of the event from the initial enquiry, event formation, creation of running sheets to event execution and post-event follow-up.
- The ability to conduct site inspections with new and existing clients.
- You will conduct weekly function meetings with all department heads.
- Have a strong drive to increase Function sales
- The ability to take all restaurant bookings
- Experience with RESPAK is preferred
- Work alongside Marketing manager to create special events
