This a part time role assisting the Facilities manager in running the housekeeping department of a busy and multi-award winning holiday park. You will need to work some weekends and will be paid above award rates. And, you will have plenty of opportunities to grow your career as the business continues on its strong growth trajectory.
About the Position:
The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to lead the housekeeping department as well as back up the department heads, and contribute to our outstanding guest service culture (we have a 4.5 star TripAdviser rating and we are looking for someone who can help us make it 5!) while also making sure we take care of our excellent team members.
Responsibilities:
As Housekeeping Supervisor your duties will include:
• Learning and understanding every role in the team.
• Improving guest service and satisfaction.
• Participating in the management of the housekeeping department;
• Ordering and auditing of stock,
• Auditing of cabin cleanliness,
• Staff rosters
About the Person:
You will bring many of the following skills and experiences:
• Experience in leadership roles in similar tourism assets, Tourist Parks a plus;
• Experience using computerised booking and front office software;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Capability of managing multiple staff;
• Must have previous experience in a similar roll
• Excellent administrative, financial controls and practices;
• Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer and employee satisfaction.
