About us
We are an elegant, stylish, vibrant and relaxed new contemporary venue that will be a first for the area - centrally located at the heart of a buzzing hub in the Sydney lower north shore. Renovations are set to be completed in June 2018 and this versatile venue will consist of a restaurant, cocktail spritz bar, main bar, terrace, multi-use event space and gaming.
With so much potential, we want someone for this venue that is an astute leader with loads of energy and fun that is really going to create the right atmosphere when they are at the helm.
About the role
We are seeking mangers to bring this brand new venue to life and be the face and personality of The Alcott. You will be responsible for the daily running of the entire venue –reporting directly to The Alcott’s General Manager and within the dynamic management team.
You will be managing across all areas including restaurant, bars, events and gaming. So whilst you are ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations you’ll be confident in your decisions and contribute to a fun, vibrant and professional atmosphere for both our customers and employees.
Indicative responsibilities include:
- Creating that fun and upbeat team atmosphere that performs to a high level consistently
- A confident decision-maker accountable for maintaining venue adherence to all corporate, WHS and legislative compliance
- Venue management including shift management, security, monetary control and rostering
- Confident communicator across all levels
- Developing, maintaining and exceeding customer service standards with the team
- Requisite administration and reporting
- Serious about ensuring the guest experience exceeds expectations.
- Possess passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
- Previous experience in successful leadership and management in a hospitality operation, desirably within boutique venues
- Superb organisational skills and Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- A collaborative approach to working with internal stakeholders
- Relevant Diploma / Degree qualification is desirable
- Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling certification
- Senior First Aid certification
- Ability to work when the venue is busy including weekends and nights
