If so, we are looking for someone just like you. The iconic Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges is currently seeking a Duty Manager to join their team!
As a Duty Manager you'll be in charge of front desk operations. Your personal care and attention to guests during check in will set the standard for ensuring their smile never fades.

What's the job?
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Duty Manager will ensure the smooth and successful running of the front desk and actively drive incentives to increase hotel profitability. You'll be responsible for payroll, and internal communication but most importantly you will not only be meeting our guests needs, but exceeding them.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure staff comply with all hotel standards, policies and procedures
- Coordinate group arrivals; ensure preparations are made for VIPs and return guests
- Provide clear and concise communication to all departments
- Respond to guest requests, issues, complaints and incidents
- Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service
- Drive incentive programs to maximise revenue
- Manage emergency situations
- Undertake regular security inspections of the Hotel premises
Experience / Qualifications Required
- Previous experience as a Hotel Duty Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and train staff
- Understanding of Hotel budgeting, rostering and payroll
- Experience in property management systems - exposure to OPERA beneficial
- WA Approved Managers License and RSA
- Diploma or higher in Hospitality Management highly regarded, but not essential
- First aid level 2 certificate beneficial
- Open driver's license
