About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has risen for a Duty Manager who will oversee all daily operations for this seven day venue within the club! The venue is close to the CBD and features as the perfect spot for punters – with TAB and KENO facilities on site! There are multiple areas to watch live racing, in addition to onsite parking facilities, and the opportunity for growth in this renowned club and the Victorian gaming commission and TABCORP.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in gaming environment
- RSA and RSG
As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the facility, including the restaurant, bar and gaming floors. Reporting directly to your General Manager you will ensure the venue is running efficiently - delivering a safe, thriving and profitable environment to punters, staff and club property. An emphasis on cost control and margin management, in addition to maintaining customer service is key.
About You:
The successful candidate will be experienced in hospitality gaming management, prior TAB experience and demonstrate a high skill level in decision making to ensure customer service levels are exceptional!
Your duties include:
- Staff management (restaurant, bar and gaming floors)
- Banking/ reconciliation
- Keno and TAB servicing
- Cash handling – including operational procedures
- Attending to wagering duties (gambling licensing, etc.)
- Supervision of stock, wastage and spoilage
- Performing EGM reconciliation, clearance, cashiering
- Supervision of rewards programs
- Ensuring safety of patrons
