A hands on role working closely with the Functions and Event Manager, you will be assisting to organize and service a variety of functions and events, weddings, meetings and corporate conferences. You will be required to have:
- Previous experience in hospitality operations and event coordination
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge with hands on experience managing functions from A-Z
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in sales and a networking ability
- Administration skills with understanding of day to day task associated with event administration including function sheets, quotes and invoicing. Knowledge of ResPak would be an advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
- A high level of customer service whilst meeting expectations and requests of clients
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise day to day responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Well presented
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- Food handling certificate
