The Position
We are searching for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our hard-working team based on site at the prestigious Sacred Heart College in Geelong. Reporting into the Site Manager you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to students and staff. This role will suit an individual looking to work school friendly hours that has food handling and customer service experience with a great smile!
Key Duties
- Deliver professional customer service
- Assist with preparing and presenting food
- Work with colleagues and customers
- Maintain clean and tidy dining / kitchen areas
- Wash dishes (e.g. pots, pans, crockery, kitchen equipment)
- Follow Compass health, safety and security procedures
The Person
- Prior experience in making sandwiches and basic food preparation in a busy food outlet
- Experience making coffee with espresso machine
- Point of sale and cash handling experience
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to present food to quality standards
- Working with Children Check essential (must obtain prior to commencement)
